This is less of an article than an account of an interview with Trump. Trump is asked why he fears diversity in news media and he responds with something along the lines of not supporting "fake news". We are truly in dangerous times folks. Media suppression leads to a lack of diversity in thought. This is a fact that has been presented to us through many different examples in the past. We could look to Hitler, Mussolini, Kim Jong Un, Stalin, Lenin, and most other Russian leaders during and after the USSR. We can not have leaders in a democracy that are allowed to lead like fascists. It always begins with media suppression. Media suppression leads to violence against political counterparts and unanimous rule. With a toddler as president it is not uncalled for to expect him to pursue individuals for ideological diversity, to punish people for freedom of speech. People on both sides of politics really need to start pursuing their best interest, that is to get that man out of office as fast as we can before more damage is done.

Racial bias in the justice system is a saddening idea. This is the only place in society where individuals should be treated completely equal, however it is the place in which we see some of the largest inequality. I think it stems from white society and white fear. Cyclical poverty and suppression of Black populations has led to a substantial amount of Black people of low socioeconomic status committing crimes. Black people are trapped by society, it makes sense because they are perceived as more dangerous by our society, therefore they are monitored more closely by the law and thus are caught committing the same crimes that white people are committing daily, yet white kids are hardly caught and punished far less severely. This connection between being black and being a criminal has led a saddening amount of innocent men to go to jail, victims of the prejudice of our times. We gotta fix this folks.

Here is an article from FOX news so you're gonna have to put my confederate flag hat on for a second to read this article. But this is a story about a extremely violent hate crime that was committed by a white man using a sword. Absolutely shocking stuff. Proof that hate still exists even though it has been pretty obvious as of late. Really disgusting.

Some more evidence of racism in modeling. It really isn't too surprising that a business that is prejudiced in its nature would be racist towards beautiful black women. Come on folks we live in America, our beauty standards need to stop being so white when there are so many other beautiful things than a tall, skinny, blonde, white girl, with blue eyes. There is also discussion on how the beauty industry has recently added more makeup brands for people of color. That sounds like a step in the right direction, however, I don't think that that is enough. They did that so that the would expand their clientele and increase their profits. In an ideal world, decisions would no longer be made purely because of the profit motive.
News Article 11: Judge Is Punished For Speaking Out About Racism in the Justice System.
This serves as a response or addition to news article 8 that was commenting on racism that plagues the US justice system. In this Week's Article, a Black judge was punished by a judicial overview committee for saying that racism is "alive and well" in the Judiciary. The committee justified the punishment by saying that it introduced bias and showed that he had preconceived opinions and a political message. Public acknowledgement of political mindedness is certainly uncommon for a judge; however, we can not assume that just because other judges don't voice there opinions that they are completely impartial and don't have there own prejudices. The idea is ridiculous and it seemed like a pussyfooted way to suppress a judge with a voice that is prone to speak out against the abuses of the white establishment. We have got to figure out a way to improve our justice system.

Jordan Peele has a couple things to say after the wake of his hit "Get Out" which was written and produced by himself and features a black protagonist, something that is unheard of in most horror movies. Jordan thinks that it is about time black stories are heard and accepted by Hollywood because, as his success shows, the altered perspective of a black individual provides a certain sense of uniqueness (Because Hollywood is whiter than an eggshell) that bleeds into their art. I've put some thought to why white protagonists are used in horror films. I believe it's so that a white audience will feel more fear because they empathize better with the protagonist. After seeing "Get Out" I realized that scary is scary regardless of skin color and culture and that good writing trumps all. Good job Jordan Peele!

This is an article on how the "honors" or "advanced" classes are thin on diversity and only a few sections of society (Asian and White) are benefitting from the improved opportunities offered in these classrooms. Honestly, I believe this was in all off the public schools I went too. I think it is good that the conversation on this is starting. These kids are doubled and separated and then offered a lesser education. This easily contributes to cyclical poverty. If you tell a teacher a kid is smart, that kid is far more likely to become smart.

This is a very short article that merely cited a statistic from the LAPD. The article states that hate crimes rose 15% in Los Angeles in 2016. This is an example of the current shift from a country moving towards a climate of understanding to a country regressing back into its prejudiced past. It really is scary. I think this news article shows the importance on an education in diversity. In the scary times ahead, we will need individuals that understand and care for others who don't share their personal color, ethnicity, or religion. We need people willing to fight against this ignorant ideology, otherwise we are lost. Seek to make the unwilling willing to listen.
